Stone Point Creations
Take your bow and a quiver full of arrows, and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m R.D. Easterling, and welcome to Stone Point Creations! I am a retired financial planner who sold my firm in 2020 after owning it for 33 years. I grew up on my family farm in the Florida panhandle and spent many years exploring the nearby creeks, swamps, and woodland area. Early on, I had a desire to explore my Cherokee heritage which included learning the arts of making primitive bows, arrows of river cane fletched with wild turkey feathers and tipped with stone points, flint knives, and various other flint tools. I have used all of these in the pursuit of big game animals that I have taken to include white tail deer, black bear in Alaska, Idaho and Canada, elk in Colorado, bison, sika deer and other various animals. I have also learned the ancient art of brain tanning and making traditional clothes that I wear while on hunting adventures. I have written for bear hunter magazine and taught a workshop at a Pope and Young Club bi-annual convention. My wife, Norma Jean and I now live in the Blue Ridge Mountains where my ancestors once resided. I started Stone Point Creations because I have a passion to share my heritage and primitive skills. Thank you for stopping by Stone Point Creations!
